Illuminated Beech Trees, Night, Mist, Somerset Levels

30/10/2012: - Last night's full moon inspired me out; I was cozy on the sofa with a cup of tea but knew it could be good,  so I went for a walk at 9pm with my headlight. Not that I reall...
y needed it, the moon was so bright. So glad I did, the mist on the Somerset Levels was a stunning sight. Glorious!

Westonbirt Arboretum at peak time

28/10/2012: - Peak time for the Autumn colours also means traffic jams and thousands of other people (most of whom seemed to be photographers!); it was still great to see the stunning Acers though

The back garden on a dewy morning
21/10/2012: - These magnificent yellow Rudbeckias have been in flower for months, what great performers they are. I'm not a great fan of yellow, but I love the way they flower late, when most of the garden is dying back

Teignmouth


Promising cloud and light so I drove to Teignmouth, a location I didn't have any good pictures of. The light didn't get any good, so I had to wait for night and the lights to come on; I'm glad I did, everything looked so much better after dark!
