Rock pattern on Gwithian Beach, near Hayle, Cornwall. I've been photographing rocks for almost 40 years; my friends used to joke about it, but recently they've been selling well to Hotels around the country, so I've had the last laugh! https://www.tonyhowell.co.uk/photographsofrocks.htm

Dawn this morning; soft rain and mist at St Clement, Truro, Cornwall. I don't normally take pictures in the rain as they're unlikely to sell, but this image definitely benefits from the rain; it adds atmosphere

On rainy days it's good to look at sunny images; this was Porthminster Beach, St. Ives in June. Glorious! Apologies for my name being all over it, but sadly my images have been stolen so many times by people using them on their blogs or websites without permission. Their karma will get them, but I'd rather it didn't happen!

Last night at Cligga Head, Perranporth. The colour of these cliffs have to be seen to be believed! I had to wait some time for the sunlight, but it was well worth it. This wild part of the coast has rough paths close to the cliff edge, which means you almost get it to yourself

Windy wonderful Wheal Coates this morning. Our local Yellow Dwarf Star wouldn't come out to play, but it was still a good start to the day
